It is safe and comfortable, made from heavy-duty layered spruce and lined with a weather-resistant Agora fabric cushion. The chair and stand can easily be treated for outdoor use, and the Agora fabric cushion comes designed to endure outdoor weather conditions. It’s easy to assemble both chair and stand, and they come with all necessary hardware. PLEASE NOTE that this chair is designed for residential leisure activities only. It should provide many years of excellent service in home applications when used for quiet relaxation. The chair should NOT be used as a swing or subjected to continuous rotation. It should NOT be subjected to loads exceeding the 80 lb. weight limit. It is NOT designed for use in therapeutic care or other commercial or institutional environments where it would be subjected continuous movement, rotation, or excessive repeated loading.
- Make the elegant Globo Kids hanging chair their favorite place to hang out and relax. Perfectly sized for your favorite little person, this chair is constructed from multiple layers of weatherproofed spruce wood and lined with a plush cushion made from Agora outdoor fabric.
- Assembly does require a bit of elbow grease. To make things easier, we’ve gone ahead and included all the hardware required for assembly. Please refer to the instructions for more details.
- This chair can be suspended from a beam or Byer of Maine’s Globo chair stand, and can hold up to 77lbs. This chair is designed to hold one child at a time. If your child weighs just over 77lbs, consider purchasing the standard Globo hanging chair for them.
- The wood is treated for outdoor use but we recommend treating it with a penetrating oil finish once or twice a year depending on how extreme your outdoor elements are. The Agora fabric cushion is designed to withstand most outdoor conditions, but bringing it in during inclement weather will extend its life and help combat fading.
- This chair will require a bit of space to accommodate, as its dimensions run 37"L X 20"D X 37"H.
